Graham qualified at Guy's Hospital Dental School, University of London in 1989 and obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice at Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, with Distinctions in his final exams. He has worked in Sussex since 1990 and moved to Brighton after graduation with Lisa, spending 10 years in general practice in Worthing as an associate. He was also a vocational trainer mentoring new graduates in practice in Worthing.
Graham has been actively involved in the Faculty of General Dental Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons and its role for professional development and postgraduate education. He obtained his membership by examination in 1998 and was previously the Honorary Secretary and then Regional Director of the Faculty for the South East Thames Region.
Coming to work with his wife Lisa at Rottingdean in 2000, they became owners of the practice in 2001 and quickly became the first practice in Sussex to hold both national quality standards BDA Good Practice and Investors in People.
Continuing professional development is a priority for Graham and he has obtained further postgraduate education at the prestigious Eastman Postgraduate Dental Institute (UCL) and passed his DRDP following a five year course of study.
Graham regularly interviews undergraduate applicants for King’s College London Dental Institute.
